So I'm preatty new at this board thing but it seems like its helping understand alot of things. I just have a couple of questions about my car maybe you guys could answer. I been wating to get a motor swap for quite some time now and i wont have the money till i get out of highschool. So heres the thing. I was looking at this motor [URL=http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc2000search.cgi?what=page&item=30019] and i was thinking if i put this in my car and i fully built it with crowler rods and forged pistions and what not, bored it out to a 1.7 and sleving it backdown to a 1.5 to make it bullet proof then i was hoping to run a drag trubo kit and run maybe about 8 while just crusing and maybe 10 to 20 pounds when racing. do you think that motor could handel that fully built or should i just invest in to a B16A SIR II? i mean im just getting in to this car stuff and i dont want to waist all my opions till i get old. i mean i want to pace my self and work my way up from diff/ cars with doing diff/ swaps. Do you think that motor fully built with a drag turbo kit own some of the things on the street or should i just scrap it and go with some a littel mroe bulkyer. By the way its going to cost me 4G to build it then 3G for the turbo kit..so 7 G just to make it hall some ass. Whats your guyes input in this? when i need 2G to get the B16a here then i have 5 G left over to do what i want with it. so ya any help would be nice.

hey, just go ahead and delete that other accidental post...

so how fast are you wanting this thing to go? if you are wanting to do a swap why did you choose the motor you had in the link? if you are talking FI you could probably do better with a b18 ls engine
