Gauge Clusters

Would anyone know where to get an old body style denali or escalade gauge cluster i can toss in my 99 tahoe so I can actually know I am going 120 MPH?

Well, to break 99, you obviously have done some work to your Tahoe, but I have seen the clusters on Ebay, but they seem to be $300 bucks or so for the ones I've seen. I am going to swap mine out as well, in the near future, but I don't really think I'm going to make my Hoe go any faster than 99, I have a 9000 RPM Honda with nitrous for that! CRexRun

I just installed a set of white face guages in my 97 Tahoe that I purchased from Streetbeatcustoms.com I think I paid about $40 for mine and they have a big selection to choose from, they may have what you are looking for.

How did you install the guages? I just got the same guages and I took apart my dash and noticed the stock one is like a sticker and sticks on...how would the other one stay in place? Also, how do you get the needles off. Thanks in advance for any help.

I bought a white face off ebay for my truck. The needles slide off, I used a fork to lightly lift them up. The old face is like a sticker. There is a lot of "adhesive" holding it down. It will flex easily, so don't be affraid of breaking it. There is a piece of foam in there that channels the light for the various indicators, mine was glued to the back of the old face. After removing the left behind adhesive, the new face simple goes on. Just remove the backing and apply to the cluster. Then reapply the needles.
One piece of advice, use a grease pen or similar to mark the old face where the needles sit with the truck idling. It's best to do this when the truck is cold. So after the new face is on, start the truck and place the needles according to the marks made on the old face. Then restart it a few times making sure it all reads correctly.
