Hi all,
I faced the following situation:
Start my car- take a 2 miles ride to the mall and when I got back in the
car the battery (fresh installed) was dead (4V) !!!!
The only electrical thing I set my hands on was a few months ago when I installed an after market radio-CD replacing the factory's one.
Any ideas where is the short-circuit problem ?

sounds like a charging system problem, check your alternator output

if it never did this before you installed the radio, then thats where the problem is. if you dont know alot about electrical systems, i suggest taking it to the dealership and having them run a parasitic draw test on it, and isolate the circuit for you that has the excess draw that killed your battery. in wiring your radio, you probly accidentally spliced into a wire that is keeping a module or something awake, and its killing the battery.
