RSX header question

some rich ass from my residence was trying to tell me he has headers on his RSX and i asked to see them so he poped his hood and tried to tell me the headers were on the front of the motor.
being a honda product i expected the headers, or exhaust manifold to be on the front of the motor.
but when i looked at it the exhaust is on the rear of the motor and the intake is in the front of the motor.
nobody wants to listen to me and is suckered in when this guy points to the plastic intake manifold at the front of the motor and says its his headers
but when i say the heat sheild on the rear of the motor that covers the exhaust manifold is untouched. (the bolts that hold it on have a fresh covering of rust on them that has never been touched)
all i need is people to agree with me that the intake manifold is on the front of an RSX motor and hte exhaust is on the back. and there isn't such thing as an intake header or any type of header that is located on the front of the motor. and if this guys car had a header on it the rust on the heat sheild bolts would be disturbed and there most likely wouldn't be a heat sheild on the car at all anymore. and he really wouldn't get any benifit from a header unless he made the whole engine breath better with an exhaust system and intake, and even more signifigantly some cam adjusting gears.
i've gone on way too long, i'm just frustrated with peole who think they know more than they do.
i'm not trying to be an RSX expert because i'm not but i can tell by looking at the motor that the intake is at teh front of the motor and the exhaust is at the back, its set up like a Z24 cavalier and 2.0L VW motors (i think i'mnot 100% sure though)

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. The headers are placed under the engine. Tell that fool to put his car on a lift and he'll see that the headers come off the engine from the rear to the downpipe, to the cat, and on and on. The intake is on the front upper right of the engine, which you can see from poppin the hood. The plastic in the front of the engine does look like headers, but it isn't. Honda usually does have their headers in the front like the civic ex, but the RSX doesn't. IF HE KEEPS THINKIIN YOUR WRONG, AND SAYIN I'M WRONG, JUST TELL HIM TO PUT HIS CAR ON A LIFT AND TRACK THE PIPING....THEN SMACK HIM FOR ME!!!!

honda motors have a HEADER, not header(s).

there is only one. don't care if ppl call them headers, they're wrong. stop the problem now an tell'm they only have A header. :biggrin:

DAMN I'M FUCKING SORRY, I WAS HELPING SOMEONE MAKE A POINT. I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS BEING TESTED ON MY AUTO GRAMMER...but you're right, it's a header not headers. I'm just used to saying headers like, "people should up grade their headers for more power." :banghead:
