Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum.... I have a 99 Eclipse GS.
It's bright red and everything is stock so far. I got some Altezza taillights on order if they would only get here  Ok, so I'm getting ready to order a Blitz Kit, my question is when i put the body kit on, will it be so rediculously low to even drive over a speed bump or would i have to raise or modify the suspension in any way? Thats all i wanna know right now. But umm, I'll try to help out any of you guys with my knowledge and expierience so i look forward to hearing your thoughts and i deas... thanks! :)

no it wont be "ridiculously low" but it will be low. You just have to drive more carfully and you will be fine :smokin: So a body kit on stock height and stock rims?? I would go with rims first, but thats just me....

Ok my cars blitzed and im always hitting shit with my front. My cars dropped about 1.5 inches. Id say get adjustable coil overs and drop it 1 inch. Youd better do it right the first time. Ive lowerd my car 3 times and im still not satisfied. So drop it 1k or dont drop it at all. Iver replaced my oil pan. wter pump etc all because its too low. Get big wheels and drop it 1 inch at best. any more ?'s

oh actually i don't think i have stock rims, they are OZ rally rims, not chrome but gun metal silver 16's, they look kind of sweet til i get some others. I think the dealer that i bought it from uses Oz rims on all there 95-99 eclipses, i''m not sure, but that wouldn't be stock would it? oh yeah and i wouldn't want to actually have my car lowered with out any type of electrical hydralic system would I? can you raise your upand drop it down when you want to? by the way your car looks really sweet, i love red cars.

i can raise mine up and down when i want too. Thats what adjustable coil overs do. Keep in mind when lowering, you wil have a bumpy ass ride.... :smokin:

i refuse to put a body kit on mine. Lowered with 18's is good enough. I just think a body kit is a waste of money and time. Although i do like some body kits, if they do good aerodynamics for you and dont look like a freakin snow plow.... get some pics and show us how it looks :smokin:

i dont really like body kits, the only one i took into consideration was the SF1, but i decided i like the stock body lines best, and am going to get 97-99 stock body. thats my :2cents:
