as you can tell from the subject, i've got a question on this sensor. first off what does it do? when i was putting in the tranny last weekend the two wires on the sensor came off, so from the looks of it i need to solder them back on, is that right? well the problem is that my car is parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex, so there isn't a nearby socket to plug the iron into. so i'm wondering if i cans till drive my car without the wires attached for like a day so i can get the car somewhere so i can attach them again. lemme know asap please b/c i gotta get my car moving tomorrow

Yeah that just turns the white lights on in your tail lights so you can see better when you back up.

yeah its def. the reverse sensor... and just pull it out, and then follow the wires about 6 inches back from it and there are connectors... pull those apart and take it in the house... ;)

yeah i looked in my chilton right after i posted but was too lazy to say i found it :)
one question tho, the terminals on the tranny i just put in are bad looking, can i unscrew this one and replace it with the one from my old tranny? i think it'd just make things easier if i can
