hey yall, i was wondering what kind of hp or whp or quarter mile runs or 0-60 can i expect from these mods on a stock gst
Intake System
3" Cat-back exhaust, downpipe and high flow cat
Boost controler set at 14PSI
Upper intercooler pipe with a new blow off
well, thats about it, can i expect more than a 50 whp from these mods? thanks

before you get a new turbo you should think about doing other stuff first like bigger inter cool with full hard pipes biger injectors new intake manifold i think that the turbo should be the last thing to do and any ways i am push 20psi off my stock turbo rebuilt of coures but look into the other stuff fist

20PSI on a T25? From what i've heard, efficiency goes down after 16psi, and your turbo will be toast in no time running at 20. Also you don't NEED a bigger intercooler to upgrade turbos, but injectors, pump, wires and plugs would be on my list.

Yep i have a 97 spyder gst and my mods are everything cept internalls and turbo upgrade and FMIC. And im still slow. Just get your usually intake/exhaust/downpipe/boost controller/ fuel pump then go 16g....Im recently going turbo upgrade. But non the less I have did everything to get ready for the turbo upgrade

I ran a 14.2 at 94, and 13.7 at 99 (race gas) on those basic mods. Thats about 250 whp on race gas, which is far more than a 30 whp gain ;) Now, a FWD will get a slower ET, but generally the same or slightly higher trap speed because of the different gearing. You can go to a 14b on stock injectors and upgraded pump, stock IC. And that will be a nice gain. If you get into the 16g and larger you'll need larger injectors for pump gas power (stockers will be fine on race gas) but everyone seems to forget that if you want to max out your setup, OR use larger injectors, you absolutely have to have fuel control. And to use that you need a datalogger. So things start to get a lot more involved. Its your choice, depedning on how far you want to take things.
