It's not all that hard really.
Loosen water pump pulley bolts
Loosen alternator, top, and bottom bolts, and slide off the serpentine belt
remove the water pump pulley
loosen right hand side motor mount to tip the motor down a bit
remove main pulley (4 or 5 bolts holding it in) Don't mess with the big bolt in the middle yet.
remove timing belt cover
loosen timing belt tensioner, including the bolt in the middle of the bearing
Slide timing belt off (will be a big pain in the butt) Or cut off if you have a new one
remove the crankshaft timing gear bolt. It's on there REALLY tight, so good luck, and leave the car in gear if it's a stick, it'll lock the motor in place so the motor doesn't spin while you loosen the bolt. Air tools might be handy for this part.
after the bolt is off, slide the timing gear off, and there's the main seal. It's pressed in real good. Be careful to not damage the crankshaft or housing when removing the seal, but feel free to trash the seal. Don't drill it unless you plan on changing your oil before you start the engine again.
lube the new seal, and put it in place. Don't hit it directly with a hammer. Butt a large socket up against the seal, and hit the socket to pound the seal in place. DON'T DAMAGE THE SEAL.
When it's all in place, throw it back together. Be sure to torque the crankshaft bolt in place at a minimum 78Ft-Lbs of torque.
Line all the timing marks up and put on the new belt.

USE A REPAIR MANUAL it will give you the step by step on setting the timing and torquing all the bolts back in properly. If you have the timing off, you're in for a new engine head, cause all the valves will bend when the piston comes up and gives em a kiss :)
