What's up? I'm new so bare with me. I recieved a free 89 civic si hatch that has already been dropped and was wondering if i should drop a b16a with a 2.0 stroker kit and turbo in. I would also put new rims, bodykit and so forth. My real concern is that i don't want to be laughed at by fellow import drivers cause i don't see too many 4th gen where i live.(Detroit) I would like some honest feedback if possible. Thank you. I could just go back to driving mustangs! j/k!

You will get laughed at more, by saying you are going to put a 2.0 stroker kit, in your B16, and turbo it.

its not that a b16 stroked to 2.0 and turbo'd is laughable, its just that there are a lot of people who like to talk about their "engine" when in reality its just talk.

Look, I don't know anything about imports. Someone told me to stroke a b16a and it would be fast! I fi can't do that then what can i do to keep up with supra's? Cause if i can't with $10,500 then i'm going back to mustangs.

im sure most people think (except us) that they arnt really worth dropping money into because of how old they are...its uncommon to see a done up 4th gen here, so I say if you wanna be unique and stand out a bit drop some cash into your car

Any true honda driver would never laugh at a 4th gen.

IMO if you put 10,500 dollars into your 4th gen, and you still cant keep up with a supra, then you should go back to driving a mustang.

with $10.5k do a turbo ls/vtec and you'll be able to keep up with supra's. oh yeah and with that anyone who laughs at you when you pull up will drop there jaws as you leave em in the dust. :evillol:

Turbo LSVTEC? For what reason? Everybody just thinks the LS or CRVTEC is the best engine setup, and if you ad turbo it would be the super duper best engine.

You could build the LS to handle a lot of boost for the price it would cost to build reliable LSVTEC for some boost.

Stroked B16 (2L ?!) with a turbo? I suggest you do a lot of reading before you waste any money.

if you're going to build an ls engine you'll be adding the same stuff for the bottom end you would to do a fully built ls/vtec. but since he has the money might as well add the vtec and build the head. now you have the ls/vtec capable of handling the high rev and boost. he said he had $10,500 to put in it why not go all out? anyways the guy already decided to go back to mustangs :screwy:

ten and half g's, if you cant hang with fucking ferrari's for that, you shouldnt be driving.

id say stroked b20 - 2.2L with full turbine power.
