Okay I have done some research and realised that spoon is not the way to go.
I am from the UK and my civic is a 1493cc (near that) and so I want to do a engine swap and put a JDM engine in. I have found information about what each engine is but unable to find out whether or not they will fit into my 92-95 civic hatchback.
I really want to put the B16b or the H22a because of the power but am not sure whether it will fit. I have heard that H""a engines are very heavy and are only useful in straight lines, can anyone confirm or expand on this point please.
Which engine do you guys recommend and why....this will give me a good idea as to which one to go for.
Finally, does anyone here who is from the UK know of any company which imports such engines.
Thanks

People who don't know will say the H series is too front heavy, and what not. Well, it is heavier than a D series, about 120lbs or so. The really problem with them is the geometery, they lean backwards as opposed to the B and D lean forwards. But a good set of mounts like the HAspot one, place it in an optimal postion. Once that is done, you have to hybrid togethrer some axles and halfshaft, not too hard. I forget the exact combo, but it is easy enough to find out. Then you have to either get a slim fan, or trim the shroud on your fan to clear the slave cylinder. You also have to cut a hole to run the cable shiftlinkage. Brakes, and suspension HAVE to be addressed.
The B series are better, as far as ease of installation, but the H was a lot more torque. I'd say forget the CTR and go for a ITR, they are the "same" pretty much in a broad sense, except the CTR has been destroked to 1.6, but they have better cam profiles. The B16A is a good motor, cheap, and easy, not a bad swap if you ask me. So decide how much you want to work and how much you want to spend, what you want from your car, then go from there.
