Got a new set of tail lights and they came without a wiring diagram. Can anyone email me a copy before I go any crazier trying to figure this out? I am trying to put them on a 2003 Tacoma.

Bought a set for my 2002 Tacoma. Found that one of the new taillights was mis-wired. Just compare it closely to the stock taillights. The driver and passenger sides are wired slightly different.

I also bought these for my 2004 TRD in carbon fiber 02 style. I had the same problem. The wiring on the stock lamps are a little different and the wiring on the new lamps are exactly the same for each side. I'm not an electrician so I guess I'll have to find one unless someone can provide some valuable information.

I bought some for my 03, the wiring harness doesn't match. I actually spliced the wires into the factory lights and It worked perfect. when I tried them without doing that, my blinkers stayed on and so did my ABS light.

When you say spliced the wires into the factory lights, does that mean cutting off both harnesses and splicing all wires. I wouldn't think so, since there are jumpers involved, but then again, I am not an experienced splicer. I plan on taking it to the place that put my flowmaster on. They said there is a guy there who works on Saturday who can do it. It shouldn't cost much. I'll fill you in. Sorry for being an idiot when it comes to electrical work. I can splice and tape, but the harnesses with jumpers and different color wires confuses me a little. Perhaps I didn't stare and compare long enough, but that's okay. They should get put on tomorrow. Thanks.

If you noticed when you took off the factory lights, 1 bulb is different. what I did was I cut the Factory light harness (the part on the light, not the truck) and I simply matched the wires up. It worked perfect. The wiring that comes with those damn lights doesnt match up, even though they are supposedly idiot proof plugs.

I got mine put on by a cool dude at my muffler shop. They work and look fine! Thanks.

I just did mine today real easy. Just plug the new harness in and put the bulbs in and try your brake etc. to see whats what. Then mark it with some tape. Question Have any of you guys had any problems with them leaking or moisture?

I have noticed moisture in my right lens. I never have luck with aftermarket parts.
However, I am having luck my my 40 series flowmaster. It adds character.
My Gen3 cf 02 lenses work with no problems. Thank you.

I Got IPCW taillights, look like altezzas. had to move one of the wires on the harness to another slot on the new tailights for them to work properly. I think It was the ground wire that did not match up to the harness on the truck. When I first installed them with out modifying the harness, both turn signals would flash when I signalled for either a left or right turn. Even the 3rd brake light would flash. Is this sort of the problem you are having?

I just bought the clear tail light with the Harness for a 02 tacoma but when I installed it, the problem that I am having is the the right indicator light is constantly on, on the right side of the truck. Anyone has a suggestion, I replace the harness with the company that i bought it from but it seems that is not the problem.
