used supercharger or make the ls vtec????

im having a hard time deciding on what to do motor wise to my teg. its a 95 ls. i only want to throw about $1600 into the motor right now cause i want to order the lambo door kit. but anyways would i get more power out of an used supercharger(friend has one for sale) or just slapping a stock vtec head on there. i need some input on this please. or is there a better way to produce power with $1600 into something else in my motor. let me know. i really would love a turbo, but i dont want to blow that much money right now. any help is appreciated

You would be taking a risk buying a usde sc. Also ls-vtec setups can be very costly to be done RIGHT, and very unreliable if half assed. IMO, I would put the money into building the ls-vtec and then save for a turbo or new sc. Or you could always build a nice NA motor.

What kind of SC is it? What brand? And how many miles are on it?

save your money. if you really need the lambo doors :disappoin then dont spend the 1600 save it for later and turbo your ls. do not buy a used sc
