Hi guys. Finally had a chance to do some more on my evo 8. Had to have a trial fitting. Have started on the Interior and chassis and decided what wheels I want on my car. Sorry about the dust on the dash - should have blown it off. Also included a shot of my next dual project.

Thanks Shorty. No it is the stock ride height.
I was going to lower it but I wouldn't have been able to put the same rims on it as it would have caused all sorts of problems with the rims touching all the suspension parts underneath which would have meant modifying them and I didn't want to go there just yet.
The wheels look on a funny angle in the rear shot as they were just pushed onto the axle wire but it is the height it will stay at.
P-Man - Yeah it is a different colour for an Evo. I didn't want to be a clone(not clown) and do one in a colour that we will see over and over again. Its Tamiyas TS52 Candy Lime green.

I'm currently working on a Fujimi Evo VI and I've got a similiar problem with the wheels looking not quite right. I think the chasis and interior tubs are the same going back all the way to thier Evo III. Glad to know its not only me!!

Well its finally finished! Took me long enough, god I hate work taking up my hobbytime. Finished putting BMF in the lights and flocking in the interior.
Couldn't make up my mind which wing to put on it - the standard Evo style or one of the Aoshima GT wings so I didn't put any.
I am happy with it as it is now so I guess that is all that really matters.
What do you folks think - good and bad welcome.

Awesome! Can't think of any possible bad comments! It just looks great! No wait a minute. Where's the muffler? It's hidden a little. Well if that's all there is... I like it wingless btw!

I know what you mean! they just dont look right with just a painted spot for the lights.
I saw a post somewhere where the builder put alloy tubing in and modelrailway reflectors in the tubing. Will have to see if I can find it and work out if I can change mine over.

Very clean! That green rocks. The wingless look is sweet. The only thing that might bug me is the tail lights, a little on the rice side. Still a very cool car! :smokin: :grinno: :grinno:
