amp install

i have a 600 watt amp and two 300 watt subs i want to install with my stock 98 gp gt stereo. before i open up the dash can anyone tell me what kind of wiring will i need to buy?

It all depends what type of head unit that you have in your car. If its a stock head unit, you will most likley have to buy " high level input to low level out put plug" ( not that much money). On the other hand if you have a headunit with " pre-out's" on the back then all you have to do really is run the low level plugs back to the amp. Make sure that you have substancial gauge wireing for the amp ( usualy anywere from 8- 4 guage).

You will need an LLC (around $20) to hook up to the head unit. I recommend that you hook it up directly at the head unit and run the RCA's through the whole car. This will make your life easier in the future in case you ever decide to upgrade your HU.
