how much paint?

i was thinking of buying my own paint then having someone paint my car. how much would do it. it is a 2 dr 90 accord.

When you go in to buy it, tell the guy what you're doing, what you're painting and what your goal is such as how many coats you want and such. You can do most cars with 4 quarts and get a few coats on there, but if you want more coats then you'll need more paint. Also tell them how many clear coats you want to do.
