I got a new MR2

Hey guys. Its been a while since I started working on a model. Yesterday I got me a MKII MR2. Oh yeah!! Its the "Garage TT." I'm going to post some pictures of it later and some progress pictures.

Future plans: Full Border Body Kit, Volk RIMS ( dont know where at) SARD Arous Mig Exhaust, Lower it, Neg. camber in the front, the same rear spoiler that SIGNAL twins have.

I was also wondering if anyone is willing to sell me some Bride seats. I just want one.

Who makes the kit?

Sorry guys for the delay. I was busy all weekend working on it at my grandmas house. I got some work done only lights and some parts that need to be painted black. I will post some pictures tomorrow when i get home school. by the way its made by fujimi

Really? Thats cool I'm actually trying to make it look like my uncles car. The car in my sig. Except No one has those rims. So i'm trying to look for the VOLK rims. And maybe the 98' spoiler besides that i'm trying it. I'm just new on try to make the kits. I use the putty stuff,right?

Yeah, IMO Tamiya Smooth Surface Putty works good, try to get that if not then others will probably do fine.

I was wondering what kind of styrene do i need to use so i can add offset look to it..or deep dish. once again THANKS for the comments. Yes it is a curb-side. Curbside is a model with out rims? right?

Curbside kits are kits w/o engines.

Looks alright, I don't care for the lip, other than that nice work. Still needs puttying and sanding smooth on the lip where it meets the facia.

Yeah. I'm going to use the gen. 2 spoiler. I want the 3rd one, but I don't know how to make it and stuff...if you guys want to.....i'll pay you if you want me too?

I have a question. Is primer suppose to be somewhat shiny? Because I didn't find any tamiya primer. And am i suppose to sand the car with the primer on i sanded the car once before i sprayed it primer on it.

It depends if you got flat primer or regular. It may look shiny if the light hits it right.

I use flat grey (primer) and it's never shiny.

Mine says its a flat gray primer. Its a Testors. is that good? any reconmendations for some primer?

Take it back. Testors makes the worst primer EVER! It's real chunky, and painting over chunky means the top coat will be chunky.

Go out and buy some Krylon primer. It's much cheaper and comes out baby-butt smooth.

Son of a Biscuit!!! I sprayed it already. I sanded it and everything. Now it feels like a babies butt.

You could also get some Tamiya white primer, or sum ModelMasters white or grey primer.

If u want a ligher color gunmetel go with White, and if u want a darker gunmetel go with gray, mostly all colors go that way, if u want dark use dark, if u want light use light.
