please i need your help

I keep trying to make an avatar but it keeps saying this
"The uploaded file is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG file. Please ensure that it is and try again." what does that mean and how do i make an avatar? How did u guys create one? please i need ur help

First make sure your avatar is no bigger than 100x100. Those are the file types that can be associated with avatars. They must be one of those types, no other. If you have a jpeg it won't work, it must be jpg. Hope this clears things up.

the avatar can only be one of those types of files. You might be trying to upload a bitmap (.bmp) file or some other kind. Simple as that, it can only be a certain type of file, there are programs out there that can change the file type for you, or you might want to scroll down to where you save the file (picture in this case) as see if .gif, .jpg, or .png (???) are available.

i still think mine is one of the best, it's a .gif file.

If you have a jpeg it won't work, it must be jpg. .

Ok as u can see i figured it out thanks for all of ur guys help. I was just wondering how do u get a huge andvertisment or pic at the bottom of each post. do i have to manually do it each time i post or can i set it up so that it automatically puts the pic on each of my posts
