I am trying hard

very hard to save money for a car

i was wondering which would be better to go for

a toyota mr2 86'

or a honda prelude around 88'

which is easier to hook up with the most bang for the fewer dollar

or does anyone know of a cheap good car that would be good for speed that i could look into

A few considerations:

1) Our economy blows right now.

http://money.cnn.com/2001/12/07/economy/economy/

2) Turbos are expensive.

3) What's your intended use?

4) What do you know about cars (mechanics, body work, etc.)?

If you're really into racing, talk to these folks:

* SCCA Club Racing (303) 694-7229

They will tell you what you need to do to obtain your race car
driving license.

The above doesn't exactly answer your question. But I'm sure the folks here can tell that setting up a car is not cheap.

Hm 800... try to find something on autotrader.com for that. Or go on ebay and check some stuff out because old non sports cars go very cheap on there... what would be pimp for that money would be an old pimped out beetle.
