Will rims with 4x100 bolt pattern work with 4x114? If not is it possible to have a wheel shop drill 4x114 holes into the wheel? Would that be expensive?

i personally wouldn't do that. spend the extra money and get some wheels are good the first time. plus bringing the wheels to get them drilled at a machine shop is not goin to be cheap at all. so with the money htat your goin to spend on doint hat, you could've gotten a nice set of wheels.

i would think that redrilling a wheel like that will compromise its strength. if your havin a tough time finding wheel for your 240 and you have alittle extra money, i would upgrade to 5 lug. it opens things up for alittle more options.

The ones I am looking only have 4 holes - 4x100. Ive seen the same wheels 8 holes to accomodate both 4x114.3 and 4x100 patterns. I dont think adding extra holes would comprimise the strength of the wheel.
They are going for 200 for all four - so i need to know if i buy then, will i be able to drill the holes to fit for a reasonable price.
