Hi all; I see several new names everyday and I started to wonder how we find our way to AF. I found it when I was asked to join by a visitor to my website who is a member here:smile:. The rest of you?

I found the site while searching for a kit review of the Revell Texaco/History Porsche. I wanted to see if it was just my kit or all the kits had warping problems. This is where I found the information I was looking for (after I had finished the kit).

I've been reading here for about 3 months before finally joining.

Ditto. Searching about PE parts, came up with an AF thread and the rest, as they say, is history.

THen i got back into modeling and was searching google and saw that AF had stuff about models. :eek2: Imagine my surprise when i found everything i needed to know about models was here at AF. This is by far, the BEST place for model stuff.

My friend Brian (aka Veyron) kept sending me pics from the gallery, I guess he had googled or dogpiled his way in by using search engines for cars and models. I found my way to the forum from the gallery...amazingly he hadn't done that yet! So I turned him onto the forum after he turned me onto the pics in the gallery! :smokin: :icon16:

Then I posted pics of my Focus tuner after joining and choosing a name, first thing off someone made sure I was "me" and not stealing images since they'd seen my models in the magazines

I found some SAS parts on ebay, followed the link in the listing to his site, bought some S2000 parts, asked some questions, and got directed here. So it's Flyonthewall's fault, blame him for my presence.

I was introduced to AF through the Hobby Heaven message board by a link someone over their had posted. I am sure it was a regular from here who posts over there.

I found AF after looking for Primera/G20 stuff for my car. Posted here for a few months then one day i posted a thread about who builds model cars. Turned out to be quite popular.
After talking about it with a few of the old heads that were here,(Jay/Alex/Dan)... Jay emailed our leader Igor asking to start a modelling forum here at AF.... and the rest is now history :iceslolan :iceslolan :iceslolan

I found it via word of mouth from a friend quite a while ago, he's not a member just a browser, and I was too until I finally decided to start contributing. The FAQ's and How-To's helped me improve my modelling 110% - It's great to hear everyone elses tips'n'tricks.
