is the 04 m3 smg II revised?

my 04 m3 coming in 2 weeks ... my car is equiped with smg II.. i heard there were many problems... is the 04 smg II being reviesed and have less problem than the previous ones?

I work at a BMW dealership and I've never heard of any major problems with an SMG or SMG II system. I've heard of the occasional problems, usually problems that resulted from poor driving or poor "upgrading." That said, as far as the dealer info that we've gotten, there is no difference between the 03s and 04s.
