1G Exhaust Mani

is there a significant difference between the 1G and 2G manifolds? if not i will port and pollish my 1g and bolt it in place of my stock 2G, with no downtime. :p thanks for the help. :thumbsup:

the 2G has the better exhaust manifold, the 1G manifold crack easier and is a tad smaller i think.

so bolt the 1G on and port the 2G

Edit: the 2G manifold, does flow more than the 1G

Try it out and then let us know if there is :p. I believe they are different. They have different components then the other and i dont think that the gaskets from the 1g will line up with the engine on the 2g.....

They are physically interchangeable, yes. But I cant think of one good reason why I would want to put a crappy 1g mani on the car :) If you do, just leave it there long enough to get your 2g ported. If you do the porting yourself, this wont be an issue. It only takes an hour (2 maybe) to port the manifold.

well if they are that shitty i guess i will just pull it all apart next saturday and port out my 2G and put it back together. thanks for the info. :thumbsup:

yes there is a diff in them the 1sg sucks a big one the 2g allows 20% more flow so go with the 2g
