Every once in a while the alarm will just go off on the car. The car is alwasy parked in the garage and there is nothing in there that could set it off. is there a way to turn this thing off?
One more thing, I never arm it. I don't even lock it.

Well the "alarm" that's in this car is real cheap. It is based off of Code Alarm stuff and they are terrible. The only thing I can think of is to take your door panel off and look for a DK GRN/PURP (-) wire. Ground this wire permanately. This is the disarm wire. You should see it come from the cyl. lock.

I spent HUNDREDS trying to solve what turned out to be a problem with a SIMPLE solution! I wrote letters, emails, forums, etc, for months.
Here's the thing:
1) Replace the battery in ALL electronic keys.
2) Replace the battery in the car.
ALL FIXED!
That's all it took, once someone told me. Never awaken to your own alarm at 3AM again! Good luck.
