mpfi auto swap, gettin ready

Hello all!

I am getting ready to do a multipoint conversion on my 91 DX auto hatch with a low milage d15b... ive spent the last week getting all the parts i need. Currently i have:
90 Civic Si intake manifold
90 Civic Si head, rebuilt
91 Civic Si distributor
89 Integra tranny kickdown bracket and cable
88 Integra PG7 auto ecu
90 Civic Si resistor box
custom wiring subharness

...my questions are:
1. It looks like i can bolt on the Si manifold to my d15 head...is this correct? Even if i can bolt it on to my stock head, can i pick up some power using the Si head/cam?
2. Will the 88 Integra ecu be compatible with my combo/tranny?
3. Can i keep my stock throttle cable or do i have to use a cable from a mpfi car?
4. I am planning to use shielded wire for the cylinder sensor...is this necessary? If so, where should i ground it?

The Si manifold bolts right up to the D15 head. Im sure you will get some gains with the Si head, the cam is a little better I think. From what I have read it is a lot easier to just get the Si throttle cable, but you can use your stock one. I just got the Si one from the junkyard for under $5 and it installed very easily so I didnt have to worry about it. Shielded wire is neccasary for the distributor, I didnt ground mine anywhere...its been working fine for months now.

Hey thanks, thats some good info. I'll probably just go ahead with the intake swap only, to see if it throws any codes or anything, then maybe i'll swap the head if i want some more power later. Im still kinda worried about the computer being compatible, i hope it works!
