Quick Question about installing an AMP

I am currently installing a Kenwood 1000 watt amp for my 2 Kenwood subwoofers. I have to run the power cord to the battery. Where can I drill a hole or find a hole through which I can take the wire from the inside of the car through the firewall to the battery?

Thanks

Here is what I did in my stereo install: I ran the wire from the trunk along the bottom panels on the drivers side -all the way up to the front to the point where the wire is just above the top door hinge. Then I make a cut in the weatherstripping (wire still above the door hinge) to accomodate the wire. I used a hot glue gun to seal the slice I made in the weatherstrip. You will then be routing the wire so it will be going through that gap between the door frame & the front fender & then into the engine compartment. I found this to be the easiest way as opposed to drilling into the firewall because there is not much room to work with.

I ran my wires through the fender to the bottom of the car. THen drilled a hole under the back seats and then ran it to the trunk. Its easy and out of the way...
