Sputter/hesitation on hard acceleration

Doe anyone know what could be causing My 93 Diamonte to sputter on hard acceleration? On idle its fine some time when I run it for 20 miles or so it starts to sputter no matter what speed I go and then the car shuts off when idling. But if I let it sit over night its fine again long as I don't drive it hard between 50 and 70.

ANy body have any clues?
