I didn't read any articles yet, but you can buy and check out the December 2003 issue of MiniTruckin'. I just got it in the mail last week, and one of the titles on the cover, at the top, says: "UNLEASH the S-10 -- Four-Cylinder Power Tricks

Good Luck

Cheapest way to get more horsepower is to pull back the floor mat and push the pedal that extra inch...

nitrous, free-flow intake, and gears. None will add too much juice in your case, but they're all cheap ways of going faster.

All the previous post were nice... but they forgot CHEAP!...

here we go...

#1 Emissions = GONE ( unless yer state mandates inspections )

#2 OCTANE BOOST ( buy the cheep gas, then put in yer own additives )

#3 STRIGHT PIPES BABY ( Saw-Zaw to cut the old crap out = quick and cheap )

That's my 2cents worth ;)

YOu want a cheap HP/Torque boost? build your own intake!

I did.
Damn near as effective as any pre built one and about $150 cheaper to boot.

The cheapest horse power mod is prolly gonna be something like air intake and exhaust. Now if you have done your research, you could put a junkyard turbo in it for less than 1000. That alone is good enough to get you around 180 hp at about 5 lbs. of boost. Just make sure you have proper fuel management and a boost controller. Don't want to get any higher than 8 or 9 without forged internals.

The awd turbo talon, a saab. You have to fab your own pipes. If you want more info, check out the j-body site that I have listed below. It's a cavy website, but they are way ahead in the turbo market. I would also recommend buying the book called maximum boost. This book has everything you need to know about fabbing a custom turbo.

Or if you just want to buy a kit, check out www.turbos-10.com It's not cheap and I've heard of some problems putting it on.

Both sites I have listed below have tons of info on turbos. J-body having more experiece.
