Whatup all?
Ok so being a complete idiot about cars :eek7: , i got a friend to help me install new front speakers on my 2001 Accord. So while removing the door panel and unplugging all the cables, he pulled a little too hard on the wire connecting to the automatic side view mirror controllern :banghead: . The result it came upart big time and there were all kinds of pieces falling out. Well anyways, another buddy helped me out here and we put it back together. However the controller controls the mirror, but only goes up and side to side. When i try to adjust it so that it moves downward, nothing happens. What had happened was that the whole thing had come apart and the pressure points and a white looking circuit connecter had fallen out. While we place the whole thing back there was another piece, which is a small metal looking thing (cant even describe it :screwy: ) wouldnt fit anywhere so we just didnt put it back. Does anyone know what that could be used for? or if there is any other way to fix this?
