Hey guys, what's going on? Anyways, I bought a 93 240SX Hatchback three summers ago. I just passed the 200K mile mark and started wondering how much it will cost to upgrade my car somewhere down the road. I've been told I get buy a turbo engine or even upgrade the one I have but since it's ten years old and over 200K miles, I didn't know if that was wise. Anyways, I'm really just looking for all the help I can get on what all it would take to help get my car running strong. And honestly, I have never learned all that much about cars so any help at all anybody can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! Later.

well, i would advise against turbo-charging your current engine if it's past that mark of mileage...unless anyone can prove otherwise.
i'd say if you want to do a KA-T (KA is the current engine in your car, T means turbocharged, just in case you didn't know), get the same engine from another car with less mileage, install it, and turbocharge that.
or there's always the swap option, whether it be SR, CA, or RB.

try to get your car in peak condition by doing everything to it other than the engine... suspension. etc... REPLACE THINGS!
what do you want to do with it?
just a little faster daily driver?
or a gutted track car?
you can find a loow mile KA for cheap and just build that up a little bit ( LITTLE BIT)
or you can turbo it, or you can do a full engine swap for something like an sr,
if you do not know what SR is or any other engines available for swap, search a little and you will know in no time...
