What is a reasonable price for you? I have Pioneer 4-way rated a 220 max watts and 50 watts RMS. Got them at a swap-meet for like $50 or $60. They let me listen to the speakers first which is really good. However reasonable price and best quality do not usually go hand-and-hand. I would suggest checking swap-meets if you know of any trust worthy ones that sell name brand speakers in good condition-i.e. not used. Be careful though after all it is a swap-meet.

$0-$300 is quite a window. I've never seen any 6.5's for more than $175 or so..

I dont know if you are going to be running them off an amp or not, but if you are going to just run them off HU then I would reccomend the Crystal Mobilesound 6.5's

I have them running off my HU and I really like them. For the price, they cant be beat, IMO
If you are going to amp them, I would look into the Infinity Kappa series componet speakers.
