Its worth alot more than that 40k bid, but being broke as I am I'd offer him 2,000.00 haha.

i'd prolly spend up to $100,000 on it. the car itself, 96 corvette w/ low miles is around 40-50K. plus he claims it to be the fastest NA small block, 1500 hp, yea i'd spend alot of money to have that car, but like cloak said, i only have $2000 to offer on it too.

I wasn't talking about any of the bidding or bidders...I was talking about the guy that built it for 200,000.

Oh, well in that case I guess if I had enough money to blow I wouldn't mind spending 200k to build it. But if I was just your average rich guy earning 300,000 a year no I wouldn't spend 200k on that.

I think if he posted his 1/8th and 1/4 mile times. Like gave a slip and showed a video he may get a bid higher then $40,100.
I'd like to see the fat slicks he has too inorder to get the car to go from 0-60 in 2 seconds.
I definatly wouldn't pay $200,000 for that car. It can basically only be used as a drag car.
I'd have to say i'm kinda disappointed that he turned a one of a kind Corvette into that. I'd be nice if he just kept it as original. He could probably get the same amount for a one of a kind original :)

If you all would look beside the curretn price it says "reserve not met". theres a reserve on it, which is a price that the seller can set that the bidders have to bid too or over it, if they dont then the seller doesnt ahve to sell it, im sure he has it set at like 150,000 or something, so if the bid doesnt get to there then he doesnt have to sell it, if he doesnt want too.

Posted by RedNeck383 Think they said it ran in the 8-9 second range. If his claims of 180 mph at the end of the quater are true... thats a mid-high 8 sec run. I still wouldnt pay 200k for that. Even if I did have it. I got like 15 bucks..... Broke till pay day. :banghead:
