If your mom enjoys a nice evening out or just never gets the chance. How about a very nice dinner at really class restaruant. I did that one year for my folks and they still talk about it. It was also the best $120 I have ever spent as the memorys last for ever.

Well, does your mom have any hobbies?....does she like to garden, read, or anything like that. You can always get her gift certificates to her favorite stores, or something like that. The dinner idea is a good too...i hope this helps and good luck.....:)

Is there something she maybe needs? Like perhaps some perfume or maybe she's jonesin for a new decoration???

This year I bought my mom an Iron (yes, sad, but she's needed a new one, and I went for it) and also a candle-type-thing from Bath and Body Works....

easy, take her out to eat, tell her you love her, and get her a gift certificate to the mall.

although two of those things cost money i assure the one that doesnt will be your biggest gift to her so try to be sincere!

happy holidays!

Well look at it this way. Over the past oh say 18 years how much has she spent on you? A little goes a long way. So twice a year splurge your "MUM" will never forget it.

I got her some perfume and chocolate. For mothers day, I made here a webpage (I'm not going to put up a link, cuz people will photoshop her face, and the pic is pre-nosejob)

Well I'm 14, my mom is 42, and since everyone in my damned house is stumped on what to get her, we just give her some $$$ to get whatever she wants :)

Get her something, anything. The thought of buying something for 5 bucks (some perfume) is better than $5.

I bought my mom an outrageously expensive jewelery box. It's japanese and made from 12 different kinds of trees sliced paper thin and glued together to make geometrical designs.:D

I ended up getting my mom one of those gift baskets from the body shop. (just going in that store gave me the chills) :uhoh:

Theres a bunch of soaps and crap in there that will make her happy, she loves that junk. Also got her some chocolates.

She will be happy, and that is what counts. :)

The thing that I’ve always found about my mum is that whatever I give her she is always happy. The amount spent doesn’t make a difference, it’s always the thought that counts. :)

Very True. Infact when I purchase something expensive for her, she seems a bit sad that I spent all that money on her.

In the end, It's the thought that counts!

lol you gotta love the presents you buy your parents that you end up using more then them, haha :D that's been done :)

Last year i got my mom this cool massager thingy, which she rarely uses.... i'm an idiot, cause she has her own masseur (sp) that she goes to every like 2 weeks or month, somethin like that

so analyze the situation, make sure the gifts actually gunna be useful for you mom, lol :D
jewellery's always good, but if you don't have alotta cash than don't do that, cause your mom's not gunna wear cheap jewellery (atleast not enjoy it)

well in my opinion make sure that it's very useful indeed and it's somethin that she's wanted for a while. my mom wanted a food processor once, and i got it for her for christmas one year. it was a good gift she told me and she uses it often, but the downside of the whole thing is that she kind of got what i call "food processor madness disease" like really attached to that thing...i once walked into the kitchen to get something to drink, and she was there using the fod processor. She looks at me and says "HogieGT-R (not my real name) listen to this..she pushes the button and you can hear the blade spinning and whatnot...she looks at me and goes "isn't this a beautiful thing?" and has a crap eating grin on her face.....to this day i thik that i should have gotten her perfume.....

I normally buy my mom $150 spa/day packages at Nordstroms. She'll get a facial, massage, spa, etc....

This year I bought her a Raclette. Cost $80, not too bad.

Once I told my mom I'd buy her whatever she wants, we just go to the store and she picks it, but she only chose a pair of $40 tennis shoes. I was kinda bummed I couldn't buy her more, but she was happy either way.
