Hey everyone,
I just have bought a 1996 Pontiac Grand AM with the 2.4L Twin Cam. I was wondering if this car could be upgraded with some bolt on's and if so where can I find them. I have looked a few times for performance parts for this motor and was unable to find anything. Also i wanted to ask is even worth doing to the 2.4L I talked to a few people they said its a decent motor. Just wanted to see what you all think. Thanks again.

I've got that same engine, there was another guy in here on this post that asked the same question. There were some links to some pretty nice aftermarket sites. This sites include pics of ppl. who moded that very same engine, including turbo chargers. Just look back a few posts and u'll find them I think the site is RSM racing.com. They speciallize in pontiac and other GM aftermarket parts.

DiWhite...unfortunately, there is very few places out there that will give you bolt-on upgrades to your car...there isn't any demand for it. Most people that buy these cars are only looking for a good family car/daily driver that gets good mileage, but will take off every now and then when needed. About RSM...it's a simple supply/demand...low demand, decent supply=high price, it's the only way they can stay in business. Another note, those prices aren't that high, especially since you usually get everything you need to attach/replace everything.
