Cylinder Firing

Please Help,
When I start my Cavalier in the mornings, one of the cylinders doesn't fire. You can smell unexploded fuel mixture in the exhaust and the car vibrates. After a couple minutes of driving the car sputters and the cylinder goes back to normal. Could the problem be in the spark plug, electrical wire? If so, what is the solution?

Could be a fouled plug or wire. Or the wire could just be loose from the plug or the end needs to be recrimped. Also could be coil pack but I doubt it. Check to make sure all your plug wires are snug on spark plugs. If you have some miles on plugs go ahead and change them. Because I am fairly sure if it has been doing this for a while it has been fouled for sure by now. I change my plugs every 30K and my wires every 40K. Some may say its to early but that's just what I do. Also you can check spark plug gap as well. Hope I have helped you out somehow.......
