Hi
I have a problem with the Cavalier, again. It's a 1993 2.2L It's leaking coolant again. I've replaced both radiator hoses. I've triple checked the connections at the hose ends and there doesn't seem to be anything comeing from there. What else should I check? Thanks

I had a pretty bad coolant leak in my cavy, and the thing that caused the problem was the radiator cap. It wasn't maintaining the proper pressure and that caused it to boil over, you might want to check that.

Hey;
I have a '92, 2.2L, and just had to replace the rad. The hoses were just fine, but the rad was pretty coroded. It happens. You might want to pop the hood, and heat up your engine and see if you can find any steam coming off the rad. Then, you'll know you have a leak throughout the rad, and that you'll need to change it.
I just bought a rad for $140.00, new. It's not that big of a job. I'm a chick and managed. I'm sure you can too :)

It was the water pump. I actually did what you said(but before I read it).

Glad you figured it out! I'm still messing around with my car, trying to figure out why the engine light is still coming on. It's either some loose wiring, or the stupid thing needs to be reset.
