The generally agreed upon top 3 headunit manufacturers are pioneer, alpine, and eclipse. There are others that other people prefer, but these 3 are reliable and come with great features for the price, not to mention they all have exceptional sound quality.

you mean the headunits are 4-ch?

well yeah, how many more speakers are you wanting to run? (not counting tweeters or subs)

i thot i was runnin 6 speakers...but 2 of em turned out to b tweeters...i thot they were speakers cuz they had a huge cover over them...so bak to the channels thing...a 4-channel head unit means it can b hooked up to 4 speakers...so shud i b lookin at head units that r runnin bout 23-25 watts RMS?

Headunit power is pretty negligable. I mean the only difference between different headunits is maybe 2-3 watts rms, which is pointless in the grand scheme of things. Just get one with the most features that you will use for the right price, they all have pretty much the same power output.

aight cool...iv found one or two that i really like....thanx for ur help...n by the way, this is off topic but wut did u build ur sub enclosure out off...plywood, particle board, 4 quarter inch stock, etc?

3/4 inch medium density fiberboard

it's the most common wood used for sub boxes, very dense, doesn't splinter, doesn't flex with big subs (unless you have a huge-ass box with no bracing), though it is kind of expensive.
