Help: replace Integra climate control unit?

I have a 1996 Integrar LS. It was broken into, the stereo stolen, and the center console damaged. I have a used replacement climate control unit (the original was busted) but can't figure out how to get the old one out.

There is no access to the unit from behind the dash and it appears that with the propper maneuvering it pulls out from the dash toward the passenger compartment. Has anyone replaced this unit before? Any tips on how to do it? Thanks...
