Enzo vs. Carrera GT

Which supercars would you guys choose............

Enzo. I like the styling a lot better than the Carrera. And its a Ferrari, why would I choose anything else. :biggrin:

Porsche b/c the Enzo is just ugly looking...who cares if it's faster...I know most of you will say yeah...but if it is ugly...it's not going to turn me on

The Carrera GT is plenty fast and will beat most of anything out there on the road so it'll do the job and keep my smile wide...

I love the looks of that new Porsche, I really dont see why it isn't faster, 600 hp and 3000 lbs?? 0-60 in only 3.9?? hell the Viper pulls that off and it only has a hp/wt ratio of 6.76 as where the Carrera is 5.1. But I'd still take the Enzo on a track, but as most Enzo's will hardly see track time I'd go with a Carrera GT.

overall i think i'd choose the carrera GT, but i'd prolly give my left nut for the chance to drive either of them...even...

Porsche are renowned for being very conservative in their performance figures, so expect a few tenths to be lopped off the sprint times and maybe a few extra mph added to top speed. Either way, the engineers (rightly) sacrificed top speed for downforce and as a result the car is said to be extremely sure-footed at very high speeds and progressive at the limit.

Interestingly, a Porsche engineer made the following comment regarding their 0-60 time compared to the Enzo: "we used proper tyres", hinting that the Enzo used race tyres (??) for its 3.3s (correct that time if its wrong) dash to 60. And, Walter Rohrl said that Carrera GT is "actually marginally faster than the Enzo on a track". I dont know how he knows this but it sounds like they got hold of an Enzo.

Anyway, they're pretty big comments, so discuss!! :)

ps. almost forgot, put me down for a Carrera GT :D
