Whats up everyone, I just had a quick question. Prior to having my 91 si hatch I had a 90 crx si and the e brake light stayed on in that also, and now it is doin it in the hatchback, why is this? and is in happening to anyone else?

The ebrake light comes on when your brake fluid is low.....if there is still any in the reservior just add some......if there isnt you'll probly have to bleed your brakes

it also happens when your pads have passed the too-low point and need replacing.

No shit....learn something new everyday....i thought the only thing that told you your pads were too low was when it made that god awful squeeling noise from that metal tab rubbing the disks.

Besides the fact that if the pads got really warn and you needed enough pedal travel that it sucked a lot of the fluid out of the MC than there is no electronic way the car knows you need new pads. There are no wires or anything to the brakes.
