M3 or 911 Carrera

after reading the M3 or Audi S4 post im curious as to which one you'd choose here... BMW M3 or Porsche 911 Carrera?

I pick m3.
911 is just not the right kind of car for me.
Maybe I am just not those SPORTS CAR kinda guy.
I like my car better with a more comfortable setting
Because what I am driving on everyday is public roads and highways.
and the M3 has what it needs to handle the situation.

911 by a long shot for me! I think M3's are great cars and would like to own one but I'd much rather have a 911.

That is a tough one. I like the M3 but I think I'll go with the 911.

M3. Rarer in my area........everyone and their mother has a Carrera. 90% of the performance. 90% of the pimp. Better in all other subjective areas.....

For sure I would pick a 911, but porsche is pretty much my fav. company.

There's an article in the last month's CAR about the M3 CSL vs. the 911 Carrera 2...they like the CSL but it does not have the creature comforts of the 911...plus it's only marginally faster...0-60 in 4.9 vs the 911's 5.0 seconds...

M3 for the track...911 for everyday and around town...

i chose the m3, cause i like the way it looks, and its got more room. performance is also good, probably more fun to drive than a porsche.

M3 4 ME. Although, I would have gone for the 911 if it was an higher model in the range.

im deffinetly upsessed with both cars and would take eather in a heaRT BEat but if someone had a gun to my head and told me to pick one, i would have to go with 911 carrera!

911 definetely...porsche vs bmw...(not that i only care 'bout brands)

911 is more of a sports car, m3 is just a sports sedan (with incredible performance)

It's a fricking 911 for crying out loud!!! Think of the heritage! Better car, better looking, more special than an M3. Not much of a contest in terms of desirability

911- The roads here are rough and don't suit the M3- 911's are much nicer for the roads we have here- but then again the M3 retails at $143,000 while the 911 is north of $215,000. But basically the cars have the same mission statement.
