Does anyone have a turbo kit in california (besides Greddy) that passed smog. How did you do it? I need all the help I can get. Everyone knows that california has the strictest Emission laws but there has got to be a way. If anyone has any info let me know, Thanks

depending on what engine you have edelbrock just came out with a 50 state legal turbo kit but as far as i know they only make it for the sohc vtech (d16z) and the doch vtech( B16) out of the civics.

XS Engineering is/was working on a street legal version of one of their turbos for the GSR engine. What engine is it for- that would be helpful.

If they spent have as much time getting the people who can't drive and drive w/o licenses then they wouldn't have to worry about revenue. People w/ fixed up cars are easy targets...although some of them are stupid and make it bad for all of us. I live in Alhambra and a lot of the drivers here are from other countries, I mean straight from other countries, and do some amazingly illegal stuff... but I guess ignorance is bliss... cops don't bother them... plenty of revenue right there.

Just out of curiosity...what amazingly illegal stuff do they do?

I have a b18b with a custom garrett turbo on it already, but I just want to know if there's any way to pass emissions. Would I have to take it off and re install it? Or what would I have to do? Please if anyone knows of a way to get around it let me know, thanks.

On my street their is a school. I seen the people picking up the kids driving on the wrong side of the street. Their was a street on construction out here where their was no left turn cuz the street was narrowed down to only one lane. Well this lady was about to try to turn left, against the turn light which was red and against the no left turn sign- I was waiting to make a left on the other side directly in front of her. After she saw that she was't gonna make it, or whatever she saw, she decided to start reversing, mind you on a busy street while traffic was coming toward her. She would have been fine if she just would have not tried to turn- she wasn't in the intersection or anything. Near the same street people block the intersection with their cars trying to save a couple seconds on the way to work- but then other people can't turn. People quickly drive in opposing traffic's lane to get to the turn lane since the street is backed up. It's not that popular out here for people to yield and move to the right when an emergency vehicle is coming- I've seen it and experienced it I'm an EMT. Maybe it not amazingly illegal but its illegal. I see some crazy driving skills out here- or lack thereof.
