Im starting a rally team . And as you may know i already own a 95 GS , but im thinking of trading it off for a 94 GSX and turning it into a rally car. Is it a wise decision? Ive seen it done , in the SCCA it think is the american rally. And if it works, youll see me in the Appalachian Rally in a year or so !
Any advice on what i should do when and if i get it would be greatly appreciated.

I think the 2nd gens have a better suspention, which you would need in a rally car. I could be wrong on this tho.

well I'll have to change out the susp. anyway. Tein rally specs I hope. I just like the fact of running a 4g63 AWD. Its so assuring. 2nd generations are too pretty to rally, and way to low...too low to raise for a good rally set-up.

That's a great idea, unless you're sitting on a lot of cash though, it's going to be hard. Drag racing works hard already on your car's stresses. Imagine what doing 55mph over a blind off camber turn will do if you happen to slide off course? I'd recommend you pick up atleast 2-3 spare GSX's just for parts alone. Go to SCCA.com to check out their various classing to figure out what to do & not to do to your car. Also check out NASA racing http://www.nasaproracing.com/ for an alternative to SCCA. Let me know if you've got any questions, I've been toying with this idea for a while.
