97 Trans Am door

Is there a kit for the 97 trans am to make the doors go out and up like the lamborgini's? if so where can i find them

There's none that I know of. This is because there's nothing to hinge on but the window. This would be terribly hard to do I think...

i have seen doors on firebirds like the lambo. i haven't seen kits though. i'm getting mine done at a machine shop. i'm lucky enough to have made good friends with a customizer. you may have to modify, or even shave some of your door off if you want it to work exactly like the lambo. the lambo has a curved end where it hinges. if you don't do that, the doors will hinge out slightly, and then up.

I have found the car kit for the doors to swing open up but I am not sure if they will swing up! I am awaiting for a reply as soon as I get the information I will put it out for my as well as other information. I am not to worried about the hinges sticking out a bit but I do understand that I can not have the doors open like "back to the future" my T-tops will not allow that. Thank you for your response I will get back with more info.

Ive seen a site that has universal kits...a standard and a deluxe. check out www.customautotrim.com. hope this helps!
