Check Engine light on after VTEC Controller Install

I've had my Apex'i V-AFC Vtec controller on my 1994 Honda Accord F22 engine installed for about 6 months now and it's been great. Now that I have emissions tests coming up for the car, I cannot take it since the check engine light has been on ever since after installing the thing. I would like to just rip the gauge cluster out and take out the light but there is another way to solve this. Anyone know how to get rid of this problem? Thanks in Advance.

I'm not terribly sure if this is a normal problem, I doubt that it is (I've never heard of the APEX'I unit causin CELs). Anyhow, double, tripple check your wiring - you'll probably find out why in the process

I have double checked everything and everything is fine. The only reason why that I am having problem is that there is no right way to wire an Apex'i controller with an F22B engine. I had to find the various wiring myself and connect them using a H22 wiring diagram. everything works however the check engine light still comes on.

Something is wrong for that light to illuminate...

By dismanteling the instrument cluster just to pull a bulb, will be a waste of time as that will not fool the diagnostic tool that is testing your ECU.

You need to short out the connector with a paperclip and get the
code(s) and then go from there..
