Hi All,
I have a 98 sentra gxe and the power door locks stopped working. When I try to lock the doors using both the driver and passengers switch I just hear a click from under the dash. What could be the problem? Is there a fuse or relay somewhere that I can check? I called the dealer and they said that it could be the master switch. The power windows and everything work from the drivers' side. Was wondering what your ideas are before I either take it to the dealer or buy the master switch and try it.
Thanks,
Matt

I do believe there is a fuse, but I am not sure what box it is located in. You should have a little sticker on the outside of the box on the dash one at least, probably where it is for the power door locks, that tells you what fuse is what. Not sure if there is any fuses that have anything to do with interior stuff in the engine bay. If you hear a click from the dash, I wonder if that means that it is not a fuse. Maybe the fuse goes like this power source -> switch -> relay -> fuse -> locking (motor(s))? Just a thought. If you can't find a broken fuse, I would just take it in to the dealer. That will definitley fix it, for a price.
