(( Grand Am struts and mounts

Hey everyone we have been having noisy struts ever since I bought this car. I had the struts off once and noticed the bearings almost seized. i lubed up the ball bearings and put it togeather. seemed to work fine for about 6 months. Can you replace the bearings on this model or does the whole strut have to go??
