Have inaccurate fuel readings. Won't go below 1/2 tank until empty, then goes to empty. Fluxuates between 1/2 to full when less than 1/2 full. Dealer will replace sending unit for big bucks, but say this may not fix problem. Any suggestions anyone?

The fuel level sensor is serviced seperatly from the module & have been updated with revised contacts that are more corosive resistant. I believe they run around $90.00 to $120.00. Youll have to see your dealer. It's not that hard of a job to do at home unless you are like most customers & bring it in with a full tank of fuel.
