my best friend has a base mdel mustang with some bolt-ons and more.
i just find this one of the funniest car story's :cwm27:

Well so far Kalithia and I are 26 wins and 11 loses !
Just to give you an Idea of what the "track" is like
where I'm at. Imagine a long road, right on the beach.
Shop's and Casino's on one side of the road, and a long
ass beach that stretches out to forty or fifty miles
down the coast. On the other side of the road, you have
the sidewalk, sand, and then water. Neon light's everywhere,
turist, old folks young folks, and then the little racing
community ! When I say little I mean it ! We have this spot
out here that we meet at, it's a parking lot right along the beach. About thirty to fourty cars are usually out there at the lot from 9:30 Pm until twelve thrity. We leave so early because the cops usually come and break the crowd
up and tell us ALL to "move on". I chill at the lot
sometimes, but most of the time it's mainly Neon's and
eclipse's out there, that all kind of get's old ! I Have
a friend down here is has the same Mustang that I do, his
is just yellow. He's done different thing's to his engine
than I have, but I can still give it to him "Washington
style". We know that the spot gets old because of all the
Neons and stuff, so what we usually do is drive about a mile or two down the road, park in the lot of one of the Casino's and position both of our cars pointing towards the street (just like the cops do). When we see somebody worth racing, we both bail out of the Casino lot and catch em at the next light. From there, it's just a terrible tag team. I usually race against acura's and Honda's, sometimes just to do it, I'll run older muscle cars, but that's no contest, TOO MANY HORSES FOR ME ! When I fisrt got down here I didn't have anything under the hood , I caught the majority of the eleven loses then. After I put in some work, and got some new tools to work with, I can run many more cars than I could before. That dual exaust does wonders ! I love em, and they are LOUD ! Them damn flowmasters are great ! For sure, the worst of those eleven HAD TO BE THAT DAMN OLD MAN IN THAT VIPER ! This guy pulled up next to me and gave me a look that I will never forget ! The expression on his old face was like "you are nothing little boy". This old ghost smiled and them pointed strait ahead at the road and looked at me grinning. I was like, shit why not ? I mean, I knew I had NO CHANCE AT ALL, but I ain't no PUNK ! He revved his engine, that thing was so damn loud, I did'nt even bother to rev up mine, I mean, WHY ? The light turned green and I actually got off before he did, but he was just fuckin' with me. After about four seconds of being ahead of him, all I heard was
his engine monster up and after that I saw a blue streak
fly past me. I swear it took him less than twenty seconds
to get ATLEAST A MILE ahead of me, all I could see of him
then was headlight's ! My best win was against a pimped out
new Prelued, an eclipse, and an avenger with a a spoiler,
all at once ! I saw these cats at a stop light, (now
this is after I had put my new toys on my car). We have two lane roads down here, so for me it's kind of like
driving on Aurora. Anywayz, they are all ahead of me, and
in the right line. I'm back behind them on the left side
lane. They all start revving so I know that they are going
to race each other. The light turns green and they are off,
the car behind those three guys turns right, the car after
that guy get's into my lane, and the next car I passed when
I crossed over into the right lane. Now I'm clear for a
strait un interupted run ! Those three cats had about six seconds on me, I floored it and those duel's thundered ,
I was gone ! Beach road is hella long so I had time to
catch up. By the time I hit forth gear I was right behind
the last car, doing atleast 110 MPH. He must have seen me
because he moved out of the way for me, that was cool of
him (it was the avenger). I passed him and I caught the
eclipse and the Prelued going at it. The Prelued was ahead
by a car length, so I said fuck it, I got up next to the
eclipse, and the Prelued was still improving his lead and
at the same time giving me room to slide over in the left
lane. I got over in front of that eclipse, put my shit into
fifth gear and slid past that brand new Prelued ! He had
some shit on that car too, because when I passed him I saw
that exaust and I'm sure he had an intake. Shit, that eclipse that we both had just done had a turbo. I had seen
that guys turbo because he hangs out at the beach spot !
I got all three of em, my boys in my were clowin' when we
all got to the next light ! Hell, you win some, and you
lose some ! When you lose you learn a lesson, when you
win, well shit you just laugh ! It's all fun though ! Well
that's beach racing in the south ! In two years (after I
get that Supra and put do some shit to it !!!) I'm coming
back down here and finding that old man in that blue Viper!
If before then, he dies of a heart attack or something.

I'm going to find his grave, dig his ass out, make a miracle of God happen, bring his old ass back to life, stick

his stiff corpse ass BACK IN THAT VIPER and give him the

WORST BUSINESS ! I'LL FIND A WAY TO MAKE THAT ......... POSSIBLE

Good story. How does a base model mustang (V6 right?)with Flows take a turbo'ed eclipse though? What else was done to "kalithia" besides exhaust?

Theoretically, it may work on a carbed car, to help mix the fuel and air. In reality it just doesn't do that. On and EFI car, it creates turbulence, and that's not what you want. You want the least turbulent air flow into your engine.
