who hasnt been hit by curse?

just wondering if there is any non victims of the AF curse ? im trying to find some wood to knock on now that i jinxed myself..

heres my conspiricy theroy : i think mr autoforums gets your address and sends quido to hit your car and since i live here in alaska where its -41 farenhieght (i know i butched that one) quido dont wanna frezze his arse off trying to get me . i always thought id be next (maybe thats why im trying to be careful) since there is so much ice on the roads most of the year and sooo many ford excursions....

Or maybe i have been i hit by curse : i had a excusion rub my mirror as we went around a right hand turn in the city she didnt see me or hear me lay on the horn trying to get her to pull over , damage : a day in the driveway waxing firestone tire off my mirror....

gonna see if i can find a native eskimo to come and maybe put a turbo curse on the fourm (everyone gets a turbo) im sure hell do it for some southern comfort and a bucket of KFC

i was never supersitiuios untill this curse thing hit but seeing all these cars torn up makes me wonder so please stop scareing me and be careful out there

I'm not very superstitious either.....until now! I've been boasing quietly to myself about how I've been a member of AF for two months, and nothing has happened to my car. The boasting over...

I went out to get in it after work, to find out that a bird had crapped from the hood, over the winshield, across the sunroof, down the back window, and over my spoiler. Oh yeah, but it gets worse. You see, this wasn't your average bird. In fact, I'm 99.9% sure, it was a pteradactyl (although thought to be extinct, they're actually native to the Seattle area) or some large variation of the Whooping Crane. And, prior to releasing his excrement, he must have dined heavily on a large helping of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and possibly Jolly Ranchers. So, not only was my black beauty stained with the usual white bird crap, it was also covered with blue crap, black crap and red crap. I scrubbed for hours...

I'll never doubt the power of the AF curse again....Oh, and I'll never park under that big oak tree either.

thats some funny crap dude(no pun inteded) birds suck i hit a pelecan once in my old sentra he was trying to get airborne but my car was traveling way to fast for him as he was trying deperately to get vital "lift " he smacked my windshield head on then rolled over my roof and got caught in my rear spoiler , after shakeing the car side to side (like before a restart in a race) he got loose fell onto the street and limped back across the road lucky to be alive after his encounter with a hell bent sentra and a white trash driver mad from a day at work no damage to windsheild but i did hit my head pretty hard laughing at his crippled butt . i got more twisted peleican storys but they realte more to my fishing pole and hook than to my car .only "possible road kill" i ever had was i had to dodge a moose at 80+mph he was big too at least 1700lbs ....the g has saved my ass so many times on the highway as it is soo stable

No wrecks or anything for me, but my car did DIE (currently being rebuilt) after I had been on AF for about a month...

Well, I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that I have never fallen victim to the dreaded AF curse. Maybe the curse has the same level of courage as Bruce Willis and refuses to catch a plane over here to sunny old England to come and get me? ;)

Or maybe I'll die in a horrific accident tomorrow and be left looking more than a little stupid in light of my above comment.... :(

Either way, there is little point worrying - I have insurance to pay out for a new car, and airbags to try and make sure I'm still alive to drive the forementioned new car :)

I realize that you were trying to be funny, but for those of us that have to live with the sterotypes on a daily basis, I do not find it the leat bit amusing. Coupled with the reports that Alaska Natives find a lot of racism against them, I just hate to think that you might be one to perpetuate this.

Im not trying to diss on you my friend, but hopefully in the future you will keep comments like that to yourself. You never know whos reading...

Fortunately for me, the curse hasnt found me (must be that Native luck)...and BTW Salmon, Fry Bread, and Mutton would be a better for bartering...

i knew someone would take offense to that seems this day and age you cant say much without offending someone , i really dont have raceisim against one group i hate all people equally as each has raceisim each has a few ignorant individuals screwing up for the rest. as for my bucket of kfc and southern confort you need to make a trip up here and see what i have to deal with when i go out i have natives messing with our military people when we go out becuse natives cant be controlled when they have so much alcohol in there system and the kicker is we do so much to help them and they never even thank us , i have went out to the villages and been to many of the local tribes events they hold to the public if you wacth enough of there stuff you see that the vast majority of the natives have forsaken there culture in favor of profits and selfisness, native drinking is a serious problem up here this i do know and yes it may not be right to make a joke about it but around here its a pretty accurate statement now im sure closer to barrrow and other more isloated areas im sure the native culture is still alive and well .and yes there is discrimination against natives but im sure as hell not perpetuating it and i take offense to that , confuseing me with the ignorant pricks in anchorige that viscously shot natives with frozen paint balls is total bull@#$%......

Well, I am kind of relieved that this is just not my luck. About 1 month after getting my 2002 g20 sport (labout day weekend), some coward keyed a line across my passenger side doors. Cost to repaint was nearly $1000. The worst part of the whole thing was that it was parked in my girlfriends driveway.

Must be the curse.
