I can drive my rx7 for like 15 minutes then the check engine light comes on and i like lose all power, i can still drive but i can't accelerate in any of the gears or it boggs down. I can turn the car off and start it and it will run for about another 15 minutes and do the same thing. Does anybody know what this could be?

Check the gas cap. It could be vapor locking. Are you low on gas when it does it? Check the coil or the distributor.

its helpful if you tell us the year and series. if its an S5, then that sounds like it could be going into limp mode for some reason.

Hmm.. i'm trying to remember if N/A's go into limp mode or not... but you should go to www.rx7club.com and *search* for 'limp mode' in the second gen forum.

You can purchase a cheap code reader for around $50 (try Harbor Freight). It will read the code that is causing the check engine light to come on. You will then know what the problem is. AutoZone may read the code for you for free. Dealers often charge close to $100 just to diagnose the problem.
Once you know the code that is causing the offending light, the fix is very simple. You may need to read the code while the light is on. Some codes will remain in memory. Some will not. Anyway a cheap code reader is worth its weight in gold.

well the problem could be wiring the things about the FC they do suffer from wiring problems.. check your spark plugs, cables, look under the dash also and check the wiring..
